I purchased this dog tag for my husband as his birthday gift and it damaged in less than a month. He only wore it three times, never layered it with any other necklace, and always put it back in its box after wearing it. I reached out to customer service for help, I shared photos and videos to clearly show how it was used and stored and despite my explanation and proof, I was repeatedly told the damage must have been caused by misuse. It felt like my word and the evidence I provided were being dismissed. I’ve purchased from this company before without any issues, which is why this situation is so disappointing. I wasn’t asking for a replacement of the entire necklace—just support with the damaged pendant. Instead, I was left feeling blamed rather than helped. Do not purchase!

The pendant was inspected before engraving, and no marks or issues were present at that time. You also confirmed that the item arrived without any marks, which helps us determine that this was not related to a manufacturing defect. Our warranty is intended to protect our customers in the event of a manufacturing issue. However, as with all jewelry, normal wear and tear over time is not covered under warranty. After reviewing the information provided, the marks appear to be consistent with surface wear rather than a defect with the product itself. We also want to share that, because of the unique texture of a matte finish, any scratches or surface contact can become more noticeable as they create contrast against the original finish. This is a normal characteristic of matte-finish jewelry and does not indicate a quality issue with the item.
